I had almost forgotten how terrifying city driving can be.
My partner hopped out at the theatre to meet some friends and I swapped into the driver’s seat to take our son to the cinema.
In that short distance we were overtaken at a junction by a maniac who obviously needed to go straight ahead somewhat urgently and couldn’t wait for me to turn left…
Then we were almost rammed by a joker who shot a red light as we were turning right with a green arrow giving us right of way…
At times like these, Im glad we use a car with a 5 star NCAP rating.
On the way home, however, the only incident was a slight traffic delay while we waited for a badger to waddle off the road…not nearly as terrifying!

Badgers. They’re the worst. The minute your back’s turned, they’ll be digging up your turnips… (erm, or something like that).
Having said that, some of my best friends are badgers. Or was that when I smoked something a bit dodgy?
